Keppel Club’s signature exhibition, Earth Week 2018, is back again!
Keppel Club’s team has been constructing its annual indoor landscape exhibition from 100% recycled materials to spread environmental sustainability messages to schools, corporate and community partners.
This year, the exhibition reaches its 10th instalment, and the theme is inspired by the Lord of the Rings. The future of civilisation rests on the fate of the One Ring, which has the power to protect the environment. Hobbit Frodo Baggins, tasked to save the Ring from evil forces by bringing it to Mount Doom, has been teaching self-sustainability to the villages he passes by along the way. His last stop is at Keppel Club.
SMS Amy Khor launched Earth Week on 18 Aug 2018. This 2-week long exhibition will also help raise awareness of climate change, energy conservation, waste minimisation and green consumerism. Do also remember to submit a pledge for climate action before leaving the exhibition!
Earth Week at Keppel Club is now on till 31 August. Admission is free and open to public.
