The public sector has been investing in solar energy and ‘greening’ more buildings as part of our efforts to ensure a clean and sustainable environment for Singaporeans.

We also need strong support from businesses, communities and individuals to reduce our carbon footprint and fight climate change.

DBS recently launched their Solar Energy Installation at DBS Asia Hub on 26 April. It’s about half the size of a football field with 1,200 solar panels and can generate enough electricity to power 100 four-room HDB flats every year.

The installation is part of DBS’s plan to power 40 per cent of its operations with renewable energy by the end of the year.
